A virtual classroom is one is which teacher and students are separated by time and\ or space but presents the students with the opportunity to create virtual models of the things they are being thought.   Teachers will also have the privilege of making simulated models of the things that are being though, for example students can plant seeds in a simulated green house and watch them grow under different condition. Digital simulations and models can help teachers explain concepts that are too big or too small, or processes that happen too quickly or too slowly to demonstrate in a physical classroom. This will allow the teacher to employ a constructivist approach where he or she will move away from giving a lecture, but giving the students a practical approach to the learning process where they are fully involved. This will in turn stimulate the student’s interest and improve the quality of the education. Another practical example of a virtual classroom is the one we made mention of earlier, with a teacher conducting classes from a remote location or combining classes with students in different rooms on the same building, through the use of an electronic white board that facilitates internet use.

Epistemic games are computer games that are designed to be an educational tool that help individuals learn to think like innovative professionals.  This is incorporating education in the technological revolution. Let’s consider the example of a students who are pursuing managerial studies, the instructor can present the students with epistemic games that will put them in the place of a simulated manager. This venture will provide the students with the ability to hone  their managerial skills and making them more equipped to handle real world problems.

Another way through which the quality of education can be improved is with the use of global learning.  The difficulty of teaching a foreign language will be a thing of the pass, because teachers and students will be able to benefit from global learning through the use of web sites such as With the use of (, students can set up language lessons with a native speaker who lives in another country and attend the lessons via videoconferencing. Let’s put this into perspective with a group of student who are studying French. The teacher and students can create this with a native so that the students will be able hear the correct pronunciation and spelling of words and expressions.
